Rehearsal and Performance dates:

Rehearsals:

• Monday 24th November - Normal class times
• Wednesday 26th November - Normal class times
• Saturday 29th November - 10am - 12pm whole school ballet run through. (primary will finish at 11am)
• Monday 1st December - Normal class times
• Tuesday 2nd December - Dress rehearsal civic centre - from 4pm.
• Wednesday 3rd December - Dress rehearsal civic centre - from 4pm.

Performances:

• Thursday 4th December - Matinee, ballet and selected items.
• Friday 5th December - Main Night, ballet and all tap and jazz items, awards will also be presented to students on this night.
• Sunday 7th December - Matinee, ballet and all tap and jazz items, after this performance there will be a christmas party held at the civic centre for students, family and friends.

'Hansel and Gretal' & '2008 Dance Spectacualr'

As I'm sure you are all aware our end of year concert is rapidly approaching. This year we are doing a ballet pantomine of Hansel and Gretal as well as our usual dance spectacular to showcase the talents of the tap and jazz students.
There is a lot of hard work going on in regards to costumes, thank you to janelle and carol for you efforts, so please start organsing payment for those as soon as possible.
All the routines are coming together nicely and with only a couple more rehearsals attendance is crucial as finishing touches will be made and polishing of dances done to ensure we perform at our best.
I will also be collecting money to purchase flowers and a small gift for out teachers (Margaret Peate, Marilyn Stratford and Angela Croft), I will be asking for $3 per student this year and this can be paid to me or any of the senior students at any upcoming rehearsals.
